carbon monoxide gas alarm, need advice

We bought one a few months ago before we moved house we opened it and then moved, I have just come across it now and when I plug it in it beeps for a second then stops then after about 2 mins it makes this horrible loud alarm, I dont know if this is normal as I cant find the instructions.

Can you check on the internet and see if you can find instructions?

I have a Kidde one with very brief instructions on the back but doesn't mention what you have described. Sorry!!

We are having an engineer call just to be ont he safe side.

Good idea! I bought ours after those 2 poor little kids died of CM poisoning while on holiday with their Dad in Greece last year. I really do feel safer having it in the house.

yep same reason I got mine as well. It was awful, and reassuring that you have one.
