I've always found St Tropez to be the best for natural looking tan, but you have to be mega careful how you apply it and wipe it off with kitchen towel around ankles, achilles heel, fronts and backs of knees etc.

If I wanted all over, I would consider a professional spray job.

Johnsons Holiday Skin or I think Dove do one as well, its a moisturiser that gradually builds up a tan. I have used both and found them really good. I am crap at putting on false tan and always end up with streaks or bad knees and ankles but not with these two. Oh and they smell nice too, especially the Dove one

Being strawberry blone (ginger ) have tried loads, fake bake was undoubtedly the best for me as Im very pale- it gives a nice pinky tan rather than the yellowy fake looking kind that i found with lots of others.

Just remember the golden rules - exfoliate before and use rubber gloves to apply! It lasts roughly a week, looks best on day 2/3. They sell it in house of fraser but not sure where else- I order mine online. Good luck, sure you'll look fab!

Like the sound of the Fake Bake one. Somebody mentioned this last year, but I've never managed to find it in the shops.

www.fakebake.co.uk is where I buy mine. I use the mousse because it dries really quick. You could go out after 15 mins if you were careful applying.

However, I prefer to put on something loose and wait 4 hours- then you can rinse off in the shower and go about your business! Hate waiting all night for it to set- and it ruins your sheets!

I tried the Dove one last summer and found it rubbing off on my towels 3-4 days after I'd applied it!
