Bad day, can't get any worse - can it?

Bad, bad day.

After less than 3 hours sleep last night, nursing a teething 8 month old with a cold this is my day so far.

Trying to keep some sort of order in the house and:
ds1 (age 2.5 years) - sudocream over face, top and stair carpet.

ds1 - piece of gravel stuck up nostril. Really got me panicing. I was looking up the phone number of the local minor injuries unit/doctors/a&e whilst ringing dh. Luckily a big sneeze and it flew out. ds1 then has nosebleed.

my mum fell over coming out of the back door - twisted ankle and grazed arm.

ds1 - raided grandma's handbag to try out the lipstick.

And it's still only 5.15pm - roll on bathtime and bedtime. I will be in bed the moment they are asleep tonight, I think.

Can't get any worse can it?

No no don't go to bed when they do. Have a little 'me' time- watch rot on TV, glass of whatever you fancy, magazine perhaps, paint your nails.

Agree with Miriam2, think a bit of me time is in order for you! Maybe a nice take away and a bottle of wine too..

Poor you. Once the kids are in bed, have a nice big bubble bath, slap on a gorgeous facepack, and congratulate yourself on getting through today in one piece!!
