Thanks Twiglett thats great - I can give up soon if my divorce comes through but I won't know if x2b is being reasonable for a while yet and so would prefer not to give them a date.

Don't give them an early date though - if you are ill and need to leave before your date they have to treat you as sick until the date you gave IYSWIM.

Twinkie · 16/07/2004 15:23

Sure cool - will give them the latest date that I can!!

Thanks guys.

Prufrock are you ok - how is Baby??

I am wonderful - ds is no longer sicky (actually did do a 6ft vom this am , but because he has the remnants of a cold) dd is being lovely and I think I've o/d on happy pills

Goodie, glad to hear that you are ok - will we be seeing you at a city meet with kids one day soon??

You never know - I keep thinking it's too difficult, but really it shouldn't be, train comes directly into Liverpool Street. And if it's a Monday or Tuesday I could leave dd at nursery and just bring ds, who is so easy to cart about

I'm fairly sure that by law you have to tell them before you are 25 weeks pregnant to be entitled to maternity pay. I will google to check.
