this will be his first over seas posting that will be incredibly hostile.

he's a lance corporal in the 1wfr eg an infantryman in the worcester and sherwood foresters

he's really scared to as its quite involved fighting any advice on helping my mum cope at all he's 23 and she's had to go through the whole NOK and ec stuff and hiw ill with him while he's been on leave

he's also spent alot of time with my lo too which has been nice but freaky like he's worried he's go to just in case if that makes an sense

It must be so hard for the families of these young men and women.
Hope he is home safely soon.

Well at 23 he is still her baby.

my cousins husband arrives back from afganistan on thursday . he's military police and has been there since end of september. it is really worrying when they go , but it has been really quite easy to keep in touch with him(via email and on the phone when possible) which has helped.could your mum try and get in contact, via the internet ,with any other mums who sons/daughter are out there. talking to people who are in the same boat as you can sometimes help. best wishes to you all
