He has been in a fight and come off worse, he has an infected eye and a large bite on his head. He has had two injections and some antibotitics. The bill came to £56 but as we are on benifits the vet said pay £40 and they would get the rest from the PDSA, Had to dip into our savings, but Nemo is worth it Have to take him back in a week, but if his eye isn't better in a few days I have to take him back sooner, so the vet can xray him.

mieow, there are some clinics were people in benefits can get their pets attended without a charge. It will be worth to check with the RSPCA of your area to see if they know of a simmilar service.

I did phone the PDSA first as I found their website when looking for help with nuturing, and there isn't a PDSA hospital in our area, and they told me to take him to a private vet and pay £40 and they would pay the rest, they have sent me out a form for get that help, but very annoyed that if there had been a practice nearby I wouldn't have had to pay. I have to take him back next week, so that will be another £17 plus any xrays (if needed)
The vet said they will try and get all of the costs back, so I can then use the extra £40, that I had paid, to get his jabs done with.
