Long shot but am after some specific butlins memories

This is a long shot but i am coming up blank.

Dad says that in 1968/69/70 he was in a cable car (or chairlift) crash and has lost all the information he had about it. He wants me to look it up for him and find pictures ()

Its driving me mad and leading me sacry places like butlins forums with tickers on counting down the days until their next trips

So, what i want to know is does anyone remember a chairlift crash or accident at Butlins Pwllheli (or however the hell you spell it) in 1969 ish?

Meanwhile i will continue looking - he very oddly wants all info for xmas......wierd

Have you thought about e-mailing the Pwllelli (however you spell it) local paper?

no i hadn't but ty i will try that, have emailed the beeb to see if it is in their archives anywhere

tip: figure out how to spell the town before e-mailing them

The Pwllheli Butlins was taken over by Star Coast World in the 90's and is now run by Haven if that helps you trace current contact numbers.

I have found loads of stuff on Pwllheli Butlins, but the only accident mentioned is the fire at the Gaiety building in 1973.

We were in a cable car crash in the 60s at Pwllelli but may have been a couple of years earlier. See photo
