Dutch passport for U.K. woman, Dutch mother

My husband is Irish, daughters have both British and Irish passports. My mother is Dutch and retains a Dutch passport. I was born in the U.K. In the 1960s, British father.

Has anyone else gone through the process of getting a Dutch passport in addition to a British one? I had a look on their website and it seems like a hoop jumping and expensive process. For example my Mum hasn't got a document saying she had permanently left the Netherlands they ask for. Her surname is also slightly misspelt on my birth certificate.

I am quite worried about travel arrangements after Brexit, as I travel regularly.

Thank you.
