Help I can't get the fish Oder out of my house

So I made some cod 4 days ago now (steamed). My house smelt pretty fishy. I expected that the small would soon go. But I was wrong. I'm now used to the smell and cannot smell it UNTIL I leave the house and return home and the stench is unreal. How can I get it to leave. I've cleaned from top to bottom. Aired out the house as much as possible. Leaving doors and windows open but still it is stinking. Someone must know what I can do.

Possibly a daft question, but could it be packaging for the fish in the bin that's smelling? Or any leftovers that got scraped into the bin?

Nope definitely not. I've emptied the bin numerous times since making it. Totally cleaned the house from top to bottom. It doesn't only smell in the kitchen it's throughout the whole house. Living room bedrooms etc. It's driving me crazy definitely will NOT be having fish again.
