Reaaly odd. Gets hot in morning but not in the evening. Not sure about heating as it might be a bit wamr for it to kick in. Although rads were warm this mroning at 8 am.

Timer set for heating and water to come on twice a day in morning and evening.

New boiler last Dec.

Boiler is not switching on what ever setting with have timer on. But does work in morning???

Any ideas. On hold for warranty people, thought you might be quicker!

Do you have a thermostatic room controller? We are having problems becasue the little metal strip inside the controller isn't catching properly or something, hence every so often no heating.

We temporarily solve the problem by keep tuning it down to ) then right up several times until it kicks in.

I've been waiting two months to get it put right, something to do with my Dad running a very sucessful heating company, we are always last in the queue!!!!!

Another thing to try is switching the pump to a higher setting on the boiler. If it doesn't kick in it might be the pump that has gone.

OK I have twiddled the room thermastat. The boiler has kicked in - the rads are on anyway - so will wait 30 mins and see if the water has got hot.

How would a switch the pump to a higher setting on the boiler???? Do you mean put the heating control up to max? Is so that is done in an attempt to see if that would work...

[hmm[ the water is now HOT!

How starnge - island of sodor - what woudl you say is wrong with it??? If it is the boiler it is under warranty... but if it is timer, pump or room thermastat I am guessign I will have to pay to get it fixed???
