Baby obsessed with dvd player and sky box - any advice?!!

Anyone got any bright ideas or know of any products that stop little baby fingers fiddling with all those interesting boxes under the telly? Is shoving the coffee table in front of them our only option?!

I have seen someone bungee a pillow over all the boxes.... I rigged up a curtain type thing which velcroed on at the top and bottom which had the double advantage that because it was out of sight of visiting children, they didn't even try to investigate it.

we're changing the telly cos of this!! we're putting it on a new wall unit thing with lockable cupboard doors underneath, the sky box and dvd etc will go on shelf above tv. sorted!

Hmm, wonder if I can persuade dh to buy new tv!
Like curtain idea - half the problem is that he can see something that looks very tempting..

New tv cabinet with doors and some child catches. Ours was £70 from Ikea.

Mine too but we've just persevered with saying no and moving him away and then distracting him with a toy. He hardly ever goes to the dvd player now. Mind you, his new obsession is with pulling books off the shelf

yes, Ali, and when they start standing etc you just have to keep upwards childproofing! My 2 were interested in completely different things too, and when no2 starting moving I quickly realised the childproofing I already had was nowhere near good enough!!
