I know that the US is way ahead of us in terms of using the internet but I am surprised that there seem to be so few UK parent blogs around.

Maybe everyone has something better to do

Cuz that's one American trend I, as an American expat, am SO glad isn't so popular here.

Yet another way for them to boast about, draw attention to and congratulate themselves. If they can't find a way to do this at every opportunity, they'll create one, hence, the proliferation of their blogs out there.

Yawn.

As my father always said, 'Really amazing people don't need words for their strengths to shine through.'

Modesty really is a virtue lost on Americans, IMO.

I know what you mean. I have one american friend who I find a bit difficult to take because she is SO boastful.

As you say, many of the blogs are just me,me, me with no interesting or useful insights.

There are many, many reasons why I'll never move back there.

Having to put up with constant boasting under the guise of being 'driven', 'motivated' or whatever other euphemism you want to apply to nonstop verbal diarrhea.

too see how boastful they are! [

Make sure you read it on an empty stomach, south .
