and why do I have about 400 people watching the velour trousers but nobody bidding?

hmmm

divamumplusbump · 28/03/2007 17:24

i gues you mean 40 not 400?

Eleusis · 28/03/2007 17:27

I was tempted, but sizes are all wrong for us. If you come up with gir size 4 or boy size 2, I'll come back. Meanwhile I'm just rambling on to give you a bump.

PrincessPeaHead · 28/03/2007 17:33

well actually I mean 9 but I was always prone to exaggeration!

Tutter · 28/03/2007 17:33

pph, nowt to do with velour trews, but did you decide on a hotel after the £££lots majorca quote?

PrincessPeaHead · 28/03/2007 17:37

nope - that was for this hols and I just couldn't come up with anything we wanted to do, so we are staying put. also can't think of anything we want to do in the summer. spent ages looking at villas in italy with pools etc etc and then thought "these won't be as nice as home" so I've had the radical idea of not going anywhere and spending the cash on the world's largest collection of inflatable pool toys. If it is nice weather we'll be fine! If it is horrible then it will be a bit of a pain. We are also taking the older three to eurodisney for a few days, and going to stay wtih friends in france for a week at the very end of the holidays so that will do us.

It is bloody TEN WEEKS though, our summer holiday - isn't that MAD?

PrincessPeaHead · 28/03/2007 17:38

just read that back and it is a load of garbled rubbish.
but yuo get the gist?!

OP posts:
Tutter · 28/03/2007 17:40

absolutely

drink champagne and eat lobster every night of the ten weeks and you'll still have saved a fortune

gomez · 28/03/2007 17:41

I would be happy to take the blue tartan baggies and the sage/pink velour bootlegs of your hands, if still available.

Thanks

cupcakes · 28/03/2007 17:41

Think I might bid on some of the 6-12 months for dd2.

OrvilleRedenbacher · 28/03/2007 17:42

well come over
ds2 still talks abotu you

brimfull · 28/03/2007 17:42

PPH- do you get many people using the buy it now option?Have been thinking of using it to sell some stuff.

Sorsy have no girls that age...boys 4-5 yrs maybe??

MarsLady · 28/03/2007 17:43

The ages are wrong PPH. I have an almost 9yo and a 3yo. Where are those sizes?

OrvilleRedenbacher · 28/03/2007 17:45

oi pph what did oyu wear to numebr 11
there was a thread abotu it when you wer away

Eleusis · 28/03/2007 17:47

Yeah Mars, I was saying that too. The sizes are all wrong.

PrincessPeaHead · 28/03/2007 17:54

well marslady I have a just 9 and a 3 yo too so too bad!

sheesh you have 4 kids and they are STILL the wrong age.

coddy ummmm I wore a lovely black armani suit and had my makeup done by a Famous Makeup Artist who told me that he'd done Tony Blair the day before me and Posh the previous week.

I'm delighted to say I didn't look like either of them after he'd finished with me! Had a good chat to Gordon who was on charm offensive mode, and um Anna Ford and spent most of the evening having a laugh with Sebastian Conran. Then went to dinner at the Wolsely (sp) where I sat next to Marie Helvin who looked AMAZING and honestly could have been 35.

My GOD that is a hell of a lot of name dropping. I think I need to lie down!!

gomez do you want to email me or just do it through ebay?

OP posts:
PrincessPeaHead · 28/03/2007 17:55

ggirl - I never do buy it now but someone emailed me and said they wanted all the trousers, could I do a buy it now price - and then they didn't buy them!

OP posts:
MarsLady · 28/03/2007 17:56

PPH you may have a mere 4 but I have 5

PrincessPeaHead · 28/03/2007 17:57

oooh bloody hell.
but doesn't detract from the fact that two are the same age as mine so unlikely ever to get my cast offs!

how old are the others?

OP posts:
MarsLady · 28/03/2007 17:58

Well DT1 is only just wearing aged 2-2.5 if that helps! lol

PrincessPeaHead · 28/03/2007 18:01

oh damn mars I've just given away a HEAP of boys 2-3 clothes to the charity shop

or is the 3 yr old a girl

oh dear I'm confused.

let me know because I gave away winter clothes but I probably still have all last years 2-3 summer clothes waiting to be sorted out, I'd be happy to send a load over

OP posts:
Hulababy · 28/03/2007 18:03

I like the Hopscotch T shirt, but we are on holiday before bidding ends.

PrincessPeaHead · 28/03/2007 18:03

oh hula just email me your address and I'll send it to you, don't be silly. I assume I can take it off ebay if it hasn't had any bids?

OP posts:
Hulababy · 28/03/2007 18:08

How much? E-mail me on claire.king13(at)btinternet(dot)com. Think it looks lovely

Issymum · 28/03/2007 18:13

Hi PPH

This is not about second hand Boden (all the wrong sizes for the micra-girls), but your non-holiday reminds me of some friends of mine who failed to book a holiday so spent the cash (some of it I guess) hiring a cook for a couple of weeks.
