Football or rugby - ds' decision!!

Ds aged 10 has played both football and rugby until now - he has to decide which one to continue with. Football used to be on a Saturday morning and rugby on a Sunday. From September they are both on a Sunday morning so he has to give up one.
There are pros and cons to both choices but until a few weeks ago he has always said he would continue with his rugby however, he now seems to be swaying towards his football but I think he is making the wrong decision as the rugby club seems so much more friendly and his team mates are such nice lads (the coach is an arse though) - I know this should be his decision but what are your thoughts?

What does/will he play at school? Are there any other rugby or football clubs in the area that meet on a Saturday?

I guess really it's his choice - presumeably there's nothing to stop him changing his mind again in the future?

It has to be his decision but I am really sad about it so I am trying not to be selfish here. He has been with the same rugby club since he was seven and even though he has played football since before then he has only been playing with this team for this season. We have made loads of friends with the rugby club parents and I just don't want to lose touch with them all. I really think that the recent Euro 2004 hype and everything has brought football to the front again which has resulted in him changing his mind.
