Trying to get my MIL into the internet and wondered if there was a kind of Mumsnet for silver surfing ladies of a certain age that isn't necessarily mumsy/grandparenty.

Does she like gardening? My mum has chatted a bit on a gardening forum (don't think it's as busy as mn though!)

Yeah, I'd think specialist topics would be your best chance - knitting, cooking, whatever she's into.

I'd recommend googling 'silver surfers' which is the meejah term for oldies on the net
