My ds ran out into the road when saw a friend on other side of the road.

Its only jsut hit me that i would give my life to save his without even thinking about it

Think im in shock

that is one of those things I fear when I see children running away from their mums towards the gates at school...

My legs are still shaking and when i think of it it makes me cry.

It was on the school run too, its just your worst nightmare. Hes only 3 and a half but usually so good with the road. It just goes to show what happens when slightly distracted, and that was me aswell as him.

Thank you everyone for all your kind words. a mum did see what happended and put her arm round me but when i got home i just felt sort of lonely and needed a hug. And even though i could only get a Virtual one, i do feel better. xxx
