Aussie 3-minute miracle - great and cheap!

ScottishThistle · 20/03/2007 19:11

Egg yolks!

totaleclipse · 20/03/2007 19:12

Does that VO5 hot oil still exist? not seen it for years.

satine · 20/03/2007 19:13

Kerastase is great (Masque Intense is a good intensive conditioner) but I've just discovered Aveda hair stuff, which is just wonderful for my curly mop!

ucm · 20/03/2007 19:15

It's my understanding that you cannot repair hair, just have the dead ends cut. I may be wrong, and believe me I have lots & lots of dead ends as I dye mine regularly. I have tried lots of different conditioners and the best ones are the ones that come with the boxes of dye.

Don't the egg yolks scramble in the hot water msThistle? Smelly too? How do you do that?

beckybrastraps · 20/03/2007 19:22

I like Aussie 3 minute miracle too.

Plibble · 20/03/2007 19:23

I love Aveda conditioner. It is expensive but it does the job and smells divine.

ScottishThistle · 20/03/2007 19:25

Hair can't be repaired but the condition can be temporarily improved.

Whisk egg yolks & apply to wet hair, simple!

ScottishThistle · 20/03/2007 19:29

You can also use egg yolk & a couple spoons of natural yoghurt!...Don't rinse with very hot water or you'll have tete a la srambled egg!

Bumble and Bumble products (sold in Space NK) are fab, really moisturising, and Fresh also do a really good pomegranite conditioner.

Another vote for Aussie

agree with satine-the kerastase is good.ten poundish for a tub but it lasts ages i use it once a week and everyone including my hairdresser comments on how shiny and well conditioned my hair is.
