We used to shop at Tesco becuase it was cheap and stocked alot of different things, but we find there products are really going down hill latley.
Things go off quicker and any fresh produce we get is never very nice.

We only really need store cupboard things and nappies and toiletries as we get our fruit and veg delivered and get our meant from our local market butcher.

We have near by a

Tesco
Sainsburys
Asda
Morrisons
Waitroes
M&S
Lidl

We don't really have an M&S or Waitroes budget unfortunatley!

Where do you shop and is it any good???

Sainsbury, because the fruit and veg last, and the fact that only the elderly seem to shop there so it is nice and quiet, and i don't have to cope with everyone elses screaming dc.

i am a former tesco's afficianado and now go to asda as it is about 20 quid a week cheaper.their nappies are great though ours doesn't have as gig a range of baby stuff. we still get all we need, though granted it is not as 'nice' as tesco or sainsbury's

I use Tesco but only because it's over the road. Went to Morrisons on holiday last year and it was fab.
Didn't actually have Morrisons as my holiday destination

marymoocow · 20/03/2007 14:10

lol at going to Morrisons on holiday.

lulumama · 20/03/2007 14:12

Lidl for fruit, veg, juice, nappies, wipes , dishwasher tablets, salt & rinse aid, washing liquid and fabric conditioner, facial wipes, snacky stuff

and a combination of aldi, tesco and asda for the rest

Lullabyloo · 20/03/2007 14:13

Waitrose
Simply Wild
Farmers Market
M&S

moyasmum · 20/03/2007 14:20

Morrisons 7 miles away - really no complaints and staff are lovely .
very local village shop - same again
City market esp. the fish market - superb

Hate plastic tescos and asda.

Used to go to Asda or Morrison, but I've switched back the Sainsburys after many years. I always thought it was much more expensive, but I've done a price check on the basics and there's no difference. I think it pays to switch every few years anyway, becuase you see different things.

Used to use Tesco delivery but having had one too many dreadful experiences with them, I've given up and use Ocado, supplemented by trips to Sainsburys for fruit and vege as it's sooooo pricey at Ocado.
