I am meeting a good friend for lunch soon and wondered if anyone can recommend a decent, not too pricey restaurant/pub/hotel for lunch. My friend is a veggie and may be bring her 3yo son and I will be taking my 2yo dd. I am not looking for a 'child-friendly' place particularly and certainly not with a childrens menu but a nice relaxed place where the staff/customers won't have a hissy at two under 5's.
General area would be along the A40 from Oxford to Thame, so any suggestions most welcome.
