Have a buggy system to be sold with lots of parts and wondered how on earth I get it all packaged , weighed (used bathroom scales once for fabric rolls to get off to manufacturers, but thats all!!), or priced up for delivery to buyer.

Who do I use and how do you know what amount to state for courier if unable to weigh etc. Do I also need an account with who I use, as Ive had problems in the past with my business not having an account ??? Just curious how others do it.

I did this through work for years, but had at hand HUGE boxes, commercial scales and couriers on account, however Im a bit thrown by it at home .

I have a for sale blurb , and images all ready to go saved in word , but kinda came unstuck in being able to post.

I have sold items like this on ebay as 'collection only.

We did have someone ask if we could deliver a twin pushcair and it was a PITA to pack (and that was in 1 piece) so I wouldn't recommend trying to pack TBH.

We have however packed a basic maclaren stroller, whcih was much smaller. We just wrapped a large cardboard box around it and map a couple of cardboard 'caps' to go on the ends. This was fine but was very basic and light.

I bought a travel system off ebay and it came in a HUGE box. However, most pushchairs seem to be collection only. If you are in a reasonably populated area, this is what I would do, tbh.

Melsy, just thought, look up the buggy you have or similar on mothercares website, they tell you how much it weighs.
