bloody hell have just checked the other scored - France absolutely thrashed the scots - roundly trounced.

dh at game - he will be gutted - went with a welsh mate - mate promised me he would get dh drunk at tattoo and dragon on his cheek - may even be worth waiting up til he gets home!

No doubt there was a similarly dedicated band of expats in Kazakhstan too.

theres a terribly racist but funny blog somewhere (must try to find it) saying that it doesn't matter who we lose to as long as we can beat the English at rugby. But actually thats not true it matters terribly when we lose but beating England is the only consolation prize that can cheer us up!

Oh Octopussy don't joke. DH was working in Canada with a group of expats when Wales won the grand slam. He was so pleased and so homesick (and so drunk) that he did go to a tattoo place with every intention of having the score tattoed on his backside. Thankfully they wouldn't accept him because he was so drunk.

they should have done one with washible ink - would have been very funny when he sobered up. Tatto of "Cariad Gladys" (insert suitable name) in big letters across his chest

DH is delirious with joy, starting to get all soppy now!

Dh got a ticket at the last minute. Haven't spoken to him yet, can only imagine how ecstatic he is.
