crafty types with good ideas can you help me out?

after sitting with ds1 pondering for ages we have come up with not a lot for the blasted egg decorating competition at school.

they generally make some sort of display inside a shoe box

his big interest and what everyone knows him for is being a computer whizz...so..what could we do?

please please if you have any ideas at all save me.

luckily ds2 is well away with his, eggstreme sports!!

paint pacmans on the eggs (with nail varnish)

my son painted 4 eggs black
then made out of carboard a drum etc and presented them as the beetles

Once i made an egg mobile, that went down well, gots different sized eggs and painted them bright colours and hung them on some wire.
