we are totally enraptured by it .. DD is nearly 3, DS and friend are 6 .. I think a 10 year old would love it too (it says 6+) .. I love it

it's the most fabulous version of Alice in Wonderland by Robert Sabuda.. gloriously pop-up .. very true to the original text

and was only £7.99 from the book people

oh its so very very gorgeous

Thanks Twiglett! my dd is mad about Alice in Wonderland/Through the looking glass - but we do struggle with original version so this will be ideal - plus it's her birthday quite soon!

Twiglett · 14/03/2007 17:27

gosh Mercy you should see it .. from the first page with the big spreading oak tree and rabbit hole through the mad hatter's tea party to the final page when the cards attack

glorius truly glorius

Oooh - we have a pop-up dinosaur book by the same bloke and it is fabulous.

gscrym · 14/03/2007 17:30

We have the dinosaur and the sea monsters one. Both favourites of DS (and DH).

beckybrastraps · 14/03/2007 17:31

here

It is astonishing. Ds adores it.

hana · 14/03/2007 17:33

could an almost 3 year old handle the dino pop up? looks good

beckybrastraps · 14/03/2007 17:39

Um, with close supervision...

Or is that just my three-year-old?

Twiglett · 14/03/2007 17:43

my DD is 3 in May .. I have been reminding her not to destroy the pop-ups but they seem fairly robust to the initial picking at before I can stop her IYSWIM

we have only just got it today though

gorgeous
