Ailsa · 07/07/2004 00:09

32 on both tests.

Janh · 07/07/2004 00:14

showoff, Ailsa!

I just did test 1 again and got 35 this time so ner.

(Have v good memory for some things obv!)

Miaou · 07/07/2004 00:36

I got 28 out of 35 too, but most of the ones I got wrong were wild guesses. (well, it makes me feel better if I can justify...)

deegward · 07/07/2004 00:39

29/35 on test 1, what's a toucan crossing!

Aero · 07/07/2004 01:00

Only 27!! Will go and buy a highway code forthwith and consider my wrists well and truly smacked!

Flip · 07/07/2004 01:07

I thought a toucan crossing was the crossing where it's just painted and has flashy orange lights rather than a button you push to stop traffic with traffic lights. Of course I'm probably completley wrong. But that's what I assumed it meant.

Linnet · 07/07/2004 02:48

I failed both car test 1 and 2. probably just as well I don't drive then.

Hulababy · 07/07/2004 16:22

I got 30/35 (Passed!) in Car Test 1. Some of the questions are way trickier than in the original test.

musica · 07/07/2004 16:25

30 in number 1, 31 in number 2

Hulababy · 07/07/2004 16:28

And strangely I got 30/35 in car test 2!

nutcracker · 07/07/2004 17:31

Oh dear only got 25

tammybear · 07/07/2004 17:34

toucan crossings allow cyclists on them as well. i got 35 but thats only because i had my theory back in january and studied really hard. got my actual test on monday

marialuisa · 07/07/2004 17:36

Hee, hee! I got 100% when I did it in RL but it took me 3 attempts to pass my test

marialuisa · 07/07/2004 17:37

TB, good luck on monday! just keep take your time. I had to stop and calm down when I did my reverse round the corner because my left leg was shaking so badly! Examiner was very nice about it and didn't hurry me at all.

tammybear · 07/07/2004 17:41

thanks, i just hope they dont ask me to do emergency stop as it messes up my nerves after, and i freak out lol

marialuisa · 07/07/2004 17:44

you'd be very unlucky to get an emergency stop. It's not one of the main manoeuvres any more. I think they're supposed to ask 1/3 candidates to perform it but I don't know anyone who's ever had to (including my friend who has taken 11 test so far!)

tammybear · 07/07/2004 17:45

my instructor said that but he said that theyre being made to do it more as its very rarely they ask candidates to do it, so just knowing my luck theyll ask me to do it. lol

Beccarollover · 07/07/2004 17:53

I have taken my theory test twice (first one expired before I had done the practical test)

I got full marks both times BUT I really am a very bad driver!

Have no awareness of space, little confidence and generally give women drivers a bad name!

I passed first time somehow, Im not quite sure how as I mounted the kerb on my reverse round a corner, stopped at a green light and pulled away with my handbrake on!!

So I dont think the theory test bares any reflection on the actual driving!

Cam · 09/07/2004 19:56

I got 30 on both but most of my answers were guesses. And I've been driving for 31 years
