At least you haven't always been monkey. My bikini line reaches my ankles downwards and armpits upwards now that I'm 34

alcyone · 12/03/2007 20:07

Also, my toes appear to be sprouting hair.
I am fighting a losing battle.

yes, I'm definitely becomign more hirsute! am 34. booked in for near-enoug full body wax next week!

themoon66 · 12/03/2007 20:11

Oh just wait.... when you turn 46 it all starts to go thin and baldy looking

ScottishThistle · 12/03/2007 20:11

34, it sure gets worse over the years!

My friend recently had a lot of very expensive electrolysis done & I have to say it's pretty impressive!

Pixel · 12/03/2007 20:13

My bikini line has definitely spread the last few years. It'll be keeping my feet warm soon! The worst thing was when I spied something on my face that I thought was a bit of a feather out of my pillow. When I went to flick it off it was attached and was a white, wiry hair . I wouldn't mind but I haven't even got any grey hairs on my head yet.

alcyone · 12/03/2007 20:47

Electrolysis seems the way to go.
Probably takes too long though?
The chin hair is rather disturbing, easy to pluck but every now and then spread to my cheeks.......like jeff goldblum in The Fly.
The nether regions are less obvious at the moment....until summer.

bikini line on chin = too many facelifts

Hassled · 12/03/2007 21:01

I seem to be growing a moustache - I've 40. Not noticeably, but in strong sunlight and close up there are DARK HAIRS!!!! What do I do? I've bought that Jolen bleach stuff but I'm scared it'll bleach my skin and then I'll have a white moustache for life.

alcyone · 12/03/2007 21:03

LOL
Although it's not really funny is it?

OP posts:
Hassled · 12/03/2007 21:06

I meant I'm 40, not that I have 40 moustaches or that I've been counting the hairs.

alcyone · 12/03/2007 21:07

LOL louder

DO NOT BLEACH. It sends your tash white and thick and it shows more. Get wax strips and DIY, much better. Toe hairs get shaved when legs get done in this household. LOL I think dh doesn't even know I have toe hair

tigi · 12/03/2007 21:17

do the wax strips make them grow back worse - more of them? and thicker? ie the ones that were ok to start with?

awen - me too on the torch thing. Actually have a torch that fits on a magnifying mirror and have to use them everyday.

MamaMaiasaura · 12/03/2007 21:31

it is worse when you cant quite catch the bugger with your tweezers and you end up feeling this little bit of stubble.

I blame pcos for mine although i think i have furry cheeks.. it might be because i shine the torch on them too .. cant see them in normal light.

Luckily.. (touch wood) I havent had the hairy nips.
