and water came pouring out of the door and is all over the kitchen floor now.

I did a load earlier, but when it finished it didn't look like it had rinsed properly - so I stuck it in again - thinking it was because about 30 seconds into the initial programme I stopped it, shoved DS's wet clothes in, and then restarted it (it's usually fine with that).

But it would appear not.....I think it may have finally died ! Its been threatening to for about 1yr now - kept clogging up with powder, so I switched to liquid and it's been going quite merrily since then. Although it was on the agenda for April/May time to buy a new one......looks like we might be getting one sooner than we thought.

Oh ive done that in the past too, its one of them "oh Bugger" moments.

I think we may have to end up getting on on credit from Comet/Curry's then paying it off once we've got the money in April/May time - as the money isn't there ATM and I need a washing machine

Oh Dear.

I thought my washing machine was on its way out earlier today as it was making some funny noises.

I have just emptied it and found my little "G spot" vibrator in there. It must have got cuaght up in the sheetwhen I stripped the bed.

just what I sodding well didn't need with all the cr*p with work - ho hum - better go and mop the water up (haven't rushed to do it - have stone tile floors so I know it's not going to get under the flooring and make it lift LOL).

well DH has just popped in briefly from work and we're trying it on one more wash load......if it doens't work then he's said we can go to Curry's in the morning and (fingers crossed) get one on credit.....didn't want to buy it on credit but I need a washing machine LOL.

Is it just not emptying of water? If so check the outlet pipe it could be there's something blocking it emptying. We have found baby socks and all sorts in ours before now. Check it its cheaper than a new machine.

fannyannie · 12/03/2007 20:17

its not emptying - and also seems to keep on doing the 'wash' cycle (ie the spin and 'rinse' cycles never happened - I usually know when they're happening as it makes a lot of noise LOL). Also on this last 'attempt' at making it work it "finished" the cycle it was on - and dial moved onto the next one!!!

I'm not too worried about getting a new one - it was on the cards before DC3 arrived anyhow - just a bummer that it'll be on credit....but I guess we can always pay it off as soon as we have the cash in 6-8 weeks time.
