And it is making me so angry that our local council allowed it to get into such a state taht it needed so much money.
A local business man has just donated £800,000 so the whole interior can be painted in 24 carat gold leaf.
I don't care. I wish they had knocked it down. What a pointless waste of money I think.
£10m, just think what else that could have gone towards, something taht really changed lives....
And if I had £800,000 to give a way, it would not be to this.
But everyone one else around here seems so excited. I just can not get £10m out of my head, no matter how nice the fucking gold leafs are or how good the shows they put on will be.
