I know it's been said before but OMG this is incredible. DS1 has to do a poster about a mountain range and he chose the Himalayas. I looked up Everest on Google Earth and you can tilt the picture to get a real 3D image of it. It's unbelievable!

OTOH, if you type in Himalayas you get "Himalayas, 180 Lanehouse Rocks Rd, Weymouth, Dorset" Or at least I did!

They don't look quite so grey or blue when you zoom right in though.

Flash Earth just utilises Google Earth maps and a few other sources, all of which seem even older than Google.

Virtual earth Is good too, has clearer pictures for some areas that google earth doesn't, probably some fuzzy bits tto that are clear on Google.
