I just wanted to give thanks, really, to all the mumsnetters who helped me through the weeks that I was in the USA with PROM, far away from home and very frightened. You kept me going, and by the Power of Mumsnet I gave birth to a healthy boy. He's six today! I always think about it this time of year. Amazing bunch you are

Thank you all. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. I don't think I could have got through it still sane without you. Thomas has turned into a gorgeous, happy, cheeky little boy. We go back every other year for Christmas with the family and I'm still in touch with some of the nurses. It was quite an adventure!

Oh bloody hell I only thought about you the other day. My 6yo (7 in March) was going through a hellish teething phase & I was pregnant with dc2 & had morning sickness that lasted all night so used to lurk.

Glad to hear he's all good now.
