It isn't full of pus! What nonsense!

foxinsocks · 26/02/2007 10:54

no

Aloha · 26/02/2007 10:56

Mind you, I was passionately grateful to Mrs T at the time for removing school milk as it was a daily torture (literally) to me. I would gag on the foul, lukewarm stuff.

foxinsocks · 26/02/2007 10:57

I had to have a letter to excuse me from having it !

The bizarre thing was, even though I loathed the milk, I still wanted to be one of the children who got a second bottle in the afternoon (even warmer and more revolting having been left out all day...) as a reward for being good. I am such a swot.

foxinsocks · 26/02/2007 10:59

lol

poor you being forced to drink it

PinkTulips · 26/02/2007 10:59

milk in schools was minging. It was either warm and a bit smelly having been left outside in the warm, or it was half full of frozen lumps when it was left out in the cold.

I still don't like milk

CheesyFeet · 26/02/2007 11:21

The saddest thing about losing the milk was not being able to be Milk Monitor any more. I used to love popping the straws through the bottle tops. It had the same satisfaction as opening a new jar of Kenco.

I rather liked the milk at schhol.
Tbh I'd be more concerned about the hormone supplements that enable the cows to produce so much milk rather than the 'pus' quota.

lionheart · 26/02/2007 11:37

*school. I was paying attention back in those days.
