Is there something like homestart for mums of mums ?

Id like to look into this for someone who I think needs some support at the moment thats outside the family , so they can talk openly and freely and get a bit of a boost for themselves.

Well yes grandmas, Nana's , Granny's !!

Life coaching, emotional support , one to one morale boost , confidentiality. All similar to what homestart offer really.

okey doke.....i imagine that this sort of thing is available privately..although a GP or community health centre can likely point you in the right direction, or maybe homestart themselves

i know there is a befriending grou pwhere we are for older people, who have lost confidence , especially with going out, through bereavement, illness or an operation...

maybe CAB or other voluntary organisations would know
