Minecraft comicon type convention in U.K.?

Hi
My son (8) is Minecraft mad.
This morning he asked if there are any comicons (he means for Minecraft) in the U.K..
Obv I haven't a clue.
Google not being helpful
Any wise mners know?
Can travel to London quite easily, and would be as a family so 4 of us.
Any help gratefully received!

That is my son out at that price range Same with Doctor Who conventions and Comicons etc Always the same ,

It's £21 for a day ticket. Not sure what prices you're looking at? Weekend tickets? Believe me a day is enough.

And comic con is only £25 a ticket.

Oops my error then .I could have sworn somebody mentioned £100 + .

I do know though to have photos taken with say The Doctor , is an extra £25 alone . All I know is I have had a DS most upset he cannot go (though yes, it was a Doctor Who thing rather than a comicon or Minecraft)

Comiccon venue or minecon venue? There is a comic con in London every year and another in Manchester and maybe others? I think minecon venue will be announced in spring, maybe march iirc?

There's normally another insommnia in sept or oct.

Ds2s b day is in sept so ideally we could go for that

Ds2 is still mad keen so I think we will go with insomnia - however the only tickets I can see are for April?
Will it be on again nearer September?

I'm thinking the April one might be very busy as it's Easter hols?...
