What is it doing exactly?

spikeycat · 20/06/2004 19:34

Taking an age to load, booting me out of programmes and sometimes not turning on, the mouse isn't always working either and sometimes the curser is buggered. Its a HP Pavillion 750 with pentium 4 and uses XP

You can check on microsoft's website (if you're running a microsoft os) for the latest patches etc. If you have an anti-virus program, check their site to see if they have anything new to help, ie Mcafee has a 'stinger' program to remove latest worms and trojans.

I'm not keen on norton but check their site and microsoft's and between them they might be able to help. Have you done a virus check? Does it come up with anything?

Try this for a free online anti-virus check.
