apparently the ex has bought ds one when he went to france. good idea or will it teach ds to be a thug

considering his big brother has taught him to the word "die" in a menacing voice

how could a toy knife be a good idea?

tissy · 20/02/2007 11:11

depends how much of a toy it is...

if daddy has one and this is a harmless and not very realistic simulation, then I would say okay...does it have any "useful" attachments such as compass, toothpick, corkscrew, scissors, saw?

otherwise, no, it would be squirrelled away and quickly "lost"

hes coming tonight at 3.30, so havent seen it yet, from what he said its a replica of the real thing. i wish hed ask me first cause ds would be quite happy with some bob the builder socks!

I'm sure it is fine as a toy - think Klein make it as a kids replica like the Bosch power tools. The one I remember is very chunky and has plastic flip out bits like scissors, screwdriver , fork. May not be the wisest thing for a 2yr old though.

mmmm think il say thankyou on ds behalf and discreetly tread on it and say "oh dear"
