Well as I won the last game fairly and squarely Grin despite not being as quick as the old lags....I will start another game.

Gants Hill

Yes indeed. Wickhams did fall out of favour after Vladivostok - how well I remember the fuss - but, if you put in your monocle, Andrew, you will see that I played a Wickington, which was quite the sensation when I first introduced it in Port Stanley in '73.

Perivale makes things tricky, doesn't it? It could so easily plunge us into knocking until Advent is over, but I think we'll survive if we go to

Swiss Cottage

ForalltheSaints · 03/12/2016 08:31

I trust that the theatre at Swiss Cottage was enjoyable, Maud- not sure what is currently playing, must hear your thoughts.

Must continue with shopping for the festive season, so off to Tottenham Court Road it is.

IrenetheQuaint · 03/12/2016 10:03

I wouldn't ask Maud for theatrical recommendations, Saints - her favourite music hall was recently raided by the Vice Squad and its 'musical director' is now languishing in Holloway.

We need more Rigour in this game; I shall set a good example with a cross-spliced glissade to East Finchley (pace Murgatroyd 1919 (ii)).

BratFarrarsPony · 03/12/2016 10:25

East Finchley! According to the McDonald's Protocol of 1982 that would me that I can go directly to ...

Brixton

*would mean - of course....

It may be true, Irene, that that show was pushing the boundaries of contemporary musical theatre. The director will be collecting her BAFTA just as soon as the Parole Board has held an extraordinary general meeting, although I hear that most of the cast have since moved into the Ecuadorean embassy, to avoid any risk of extradition.

Brixton limits my options somewhat, but I've long wanted to try a Jessop's Monopass, so here goes:

Loughton

Andrewofgg · 03/12/2016 11:24

I understand that the Ecuadorean Ambassador has sought political asylum in the Foreign Office, where there is a British Interests section.

After a cross-spliced glissade the only, the only move which will not put us all into Droppings for a week is naturally Marlow.

ForalltheSaints · 03/12/2016 16:44

I think the Ecuadorian Ambassador should learn the finer points of MC.

I now have the chance to play the Crossrail rule and return to Royal Oak

Andrewofgg · 04/12/2016 09:56

That gives me the chance to play a Royal Rendlesham - a move I have often heard of, usually in hushed tone: let us therefore "boldly go" even unto Queensferry.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 05/12/2016 18:47

bravo Andrew bravo! That was a breathtaking example and obviously as that must be followed by a Failsham's undercut I give you Prince Regent.
You have all been busy whilst I've been gone, Obviuosly, I can't say where I've been, let's just say I'm well stocked up with Romeo y Julietas and 12 year old Havana Club. Pater sent me in his place as he's "misplaced" his passport again. Obviously he had an invite given his youthful shenanigans in Latin America. The wake was fairly stunning, Raul sends hugs Andrew.

ForalltheSaints · 05/12/2016 21:46

I think the Havana Club would usually struggle to get through customs- must have been an off-day for them, or else they are in shock about the move to Prince Regent.

It is not far on this Tuesday evening to Gallions Reach which seems a suitable move for this nautical nation and even the Major would approve.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 05/12/2016 22:06

On form tonight! Wellesley Road because it's Monday.
Cough, cough cough!

IrenetheQuaint · 05/12/2016 23:12

I do envy you, Fuckery. My only recent trip has been to Brussels, where my fellow meeting attendees took great pleasure in ignoring me, apart from when the German one "accidentally" wiped his croissanty hands on my hair Angry

Who needs foreigners, eh? Let us fly fleetly to the ancient English capital of

Winchester

MaudOnceMore · 06/12/2016 01:58

I was momentarily thrown by the move to Wellesley Road, OhWhat, as the last time that move was played - junior league, Ulan Bator, '98 (that's 1898, of course) as I recall - it caused three diplomatic incidents and a run on the Bourse. But we're made of sterner stuff here, and the ambassador seemed in high spirits when I saw her today (we get three visiting orders a month) so I shall stride on to

Manor House

BratFarrarsPony · 06/12/2016 08:54

Manor House is it? I have a fair idea of what the Major would have to say about that after the great Finsbury debacle .
Still never mind.
Boston Manor

Risky, I know, but we seem to be in a risky frame of mind this game, so a transverse swerve to Kew Gardens. I fully expect to be disowned.

SapphireStrange · 06/12/2016 18:18

Been away for a while, but I can see immediately what you're all thinking.

Kew Gardens is OK as long as it's obverse.

So I can pull a Newbiggin and take us to Crossharbour & London Arena.

00100001 · 06/12/2016 18:54

A Bengal Twist to wandsworth Road

Try getting out that one!

ForalltheSaints · 06/12/2016 19:42

With the help of the Lavender Hill mob given the invocation of the Ealing Comedy rule i have to take a replacement tank to get me to Clapham North. So avoiding Pimlico as my passport is not available.

SapphireStrange · 07/12/2016 10:29

Ah, we can go to Ravenscourt Park now (I've used my last Hopper but never mind).

00100001 · 07/12/2016 10:53

Hah! I complete the Pennington Chevron - to East Putney

Andrewofgg · 07/12/2016 18:10

Not bloody likely - the Picc Line is in shambles.

So it can only be Whitechapel with an option on New Cross Gate.

The Ambassador tells me that the tattoo is healing up nicely and she will soon be able to sit down again. Rather her than me although that sneaky photo the Commodore has been passing round suggests that it was worthwhile.

ForalltheSaints · 07/12/2016 18:39

Let us exercise the New Cross Gate option, before the Ambassador visits again.

MaudOnceMore · 08/12/2016 07:24

And from there, a

MaudOnceMore · 08/12/2016 07:25

Huh.

... swift but (I like to think) elegant Pennington to

Stockwell
