Does anyone know of any mum and baby groups in the area or other stuff for mums and their babies to do?

I moved from W to SE London in December and have no family or friends around so am eager to get some sort of social life.

I live in Brockley SE4 but have a car so can get to surrounding areas easily.

hey i live in peckham/camberwell area, there are quite afew around this area but i go to one a bit further away, its a really good toddler group but theyre closing for refurbishment.

camberwell leisure centre do quite a few sessions, i will be checking that one out when the toddler group closes

There is a "Playclub" in Friendly Gardens Park- open every day from (I think) 10.00 to 3.30. It is walking distance from Brockley.

Forgot to mention my son is only 9 weeks old so I am only really looking for baby groups.

ilovemyboy-if you put friendly gardens playclub SE8 into google it will bring it up on the Lewisham Borough website-also lists other playclubs in the borough. You will find parents there with babies and toddlers up to 3.

Ilovemyboys, you need to go the netmums website. They provide information about activities, groups, what's on in your area etc for your postcode. It's very informative.
