My Dd's have just said that they will always keep their rooms tidy when we move, and that every time they gets omething out, they will put it away as soon as they have finnished.

Wonder how long it'll last

I remember saying this as a child.

DD1 has opted for one of the smaller rooms, so i think she thinks it will be easier to keep tidy.

Dd2 will be having the bigger room as she has larger toys, but i can't see her ever keeping it tidy, she's never tidied up, unless forced too.

My sister and I were RAF kids and promised this with every house move. I think our average was 1.5 weeks every time!

I think it will only work if the boxes full of toys fall off the back of the van
