Ds went to his granma's house the other day. She had got him a pair of safety sissors to use fo 'making things' (ds's favourite occupation at the moment). They had metal parts though and at home ds is only allowed to use his 'special sissors' which are entirely plastic (and don't cut a damned thing, but nevermind).

Ds was apalled at his granma - 'no ds have special scissors' and refused to accept them . 'naughty granma' apparently leading him astray.

No why at home does he keep asking for 'mummy, daddy scissors'

Its nice to know somethings sunk in though.

sweet

My DS refused to get in my Mum's car when she picked him up from nursery once because she didn't have his car seat in. He made her walk home

My friend's ds (nearly 3) told her strenly the other day "we do NOT say people are stupid mummy, you mean xx is a silly billy, I think ..."

funnypeculiar · 03/02/2007 19:57

And ds (when dd was tiny-wee) used to say "DS, what is your issue NOW??"

you try your hardest to make them behave and then they end up telling you off

I couldn't help PMSL when I found out
