Hi Everyone,
Anyone bored of C Beebies my kids love it but the thing that winds me the most is that they repeat the same thing 3 times a day and do the people in Ballamory ever change their clothes

Yep - dd1 and dd2

England04 · 09/06/2004 10:01

Carla
it's not as if you can turn it off my kids love it so much but then their too young to know it's being repeated

I've just been playing Fimbles games on the website because ds1 left it on before school. How sad is that?

Hulababy · 09/06/2004 10:05

I agree with the repeated stuff. Why is it when ever D's TV time is, it just happens to be exactly the same episode of Tweenies. etc. that she saw in the morning!!! Argh!

Hulababy · 09/06/2004 10:07

Flip - with my sixth formers I do a multimedia topic and one of my startes to to compare two different websites to consider audience needs, purpose, etc and how they differ. One of the two sites I use is the Cbeebies one.

Well, the sixth formers loved it. I could hardly get the off the darn thing to get on with the rest of the lesson!

I go through entire days humming theme tunes from Cbeebies!
I'm especially drawn to:

It's time to go to bed
But I can't coz ma head
Is full of those things
I'd rather do instead....

etc etc

I can sing that so many times in one day that I want to gouge my own eyes out.

Janstar · 09/06/2004 10:10

Yes PC Plum and Miss Goolies changed into sailing gear once when they had a day off.

don't worry, in a few months time your kids will get fed up with cbeebies and then you can get bored with Nick Jnr. It's even worse.

England04 · 09/06/2004 10:11

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL I KNOW ALL THE WORDS TO THE BALAMORY SONGS MY FAVOURITE ONE IS THE EDIE MC CREDIE SONG

going through a tom& jerry & looney tunes phase at mo so boomerang is on ALL the time!

oliveoil · 09/06/2004 10:24

...and why can non of the presenters sing in tune in the bedtime hour??? The chinese girl is always in the wrong key and the man that counts sheep (check his eyebrows out) makes me want to punch the tv. He is Mr Muggins or something in another programme.

And Toothache, THANKS!!!, I now have that tune in my head!

England04 · 09/06/2004 10:27

When you think about it they must get paid alot of money to make an idiot of themselves dont you think

The man with the over-active eyeborw condition is Chris.... who also play Mr Moffle in Step Inside....

OO - HOW could you not know that!?

Tom · 09/06/2004 10:45

No but I am SICK AND TIRED of "just a little bit of Nick Junior daddy". Although I think Kevin from Blues Clues is a total dude.

Tom · 09/06/2004 10:48

oh - and the wiggle worm song and the l.l.l.l.l.l.l.l.l.llunchtime song is awesome - bedtime business not so good - not one of Kev's better moments.

Bogwoppit · 09/06/2004 11:14

i like arnie & barnie worm.

have you seenthe pyjama song on disney - it's mad!

oh & toothache - I know u want us june mums-to-be to hurry up, but I really don't want to be humming that blummin cbeebies song all through labour - so if u could perhaps suggest a new tune to get stuck in my head.....
