All you medically-trained people - can you tell the gender from a scan or scan picture?

And isn't that frustrating if you didn't want to know, or if it is someone else's and they don't know? I'm fascinated!

All depends on the position of the baby, you dont have to be medically trained.

NO - I decorated and bought blue again for my ds2 who turned out to be a dd1!! I saw tackle on the scan which must have been a foot, cord, airplane.... by dd2 I gave up trying to see!

Sometimes its very obvious, most of the time I wouldn't have a clue. Some scans I struggle seeing the baby's head never mind their bits
