Friend going to the Aldwych Theatre in london....

Does anyone know if there is a dress code? she has just phoned me very stressed because she is 8 months pg & can not be bothered to go (not feeling well) & says her dp has no trousers to wear can he wear jeans?

Tell them not to worry, they can wear what they like. I've not dressed poshly to go to the theatre in london for a while, smart casual would be good but you don't need to be any more than that.
DH wears jean and I am heavily pregnant too so comfy pull on trousers for me.
I once saw a man just wearing a vest, (and obviously trousers) in the Royal Opera House!

Oh thanks peachy thats great going to give her a call & let her know so she can chill out a bit now, it was a birthday present to go & see dirty dancing & she really does not feel well but is trying not to crack

I confess to going to a posh restaurant in jeans when I was about 8 mo pg. I think people will cut you a LOT of slack when you're that far along... Don't know about the dh, but if she's casual, then I don't see why he can't be as well...

It is perfectly more than ever so acceptable to go to Dirty Dancing in jeans!
(says someone who runs a theatre)
