how do i get rid of 'pop ups' which can get through my pop up blocker?

i have run ad-ware, cleaned out my temp internte files, have my pop up blocker on but still they keep coming, i'm not sure where they came from but its only been since thursday or friday and think it maybe linked to an emocitions thingy i downloaded, i have deleted this too but stil th little gits keep coming! thankfully its not porn just annoying junk pop up

I had this when I used MSN - had to get rid of that.

Have you got any security other than ad-ware, e.g. Norton? Might be time to do a full scan with that.

Sorry, can't help any further, but sympathise as it's incredibly irritating.

thanks have macaffe as a virsus checker so will run that and hope it fnds it! or failing that will delete msn and start again
