How do I find somewhere cheap to have christening party???????

having both DDs christened end of next month and is also Dhs 30th bday. Now MIL has offered to pay for a hall but dont want anywhere too expensive or too far. Church social club is already booked and was only £40 to hire. So where else do I look???? Have been trying to search via internet but got no idea how to find somewhere.

DD's baptism celebrations was held in local rugby club, recently done after lottery money. Was locely. Hired a room and has some catering, and bar was very cheap.
