My best buddy for 30+ years is running the London Marathon for the first time this year. She is running for a very worthwhile cause - The Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation.

She asked ask all her friends and family to assist in helping her raise money and I promised her I would post on Mumsnet. I know some of you may have diabetes yourselves or may have family and friends with the condition.
