now since yesterday it became a very tight triple knot in her hair

she hadnt got much hair as on top of her hair is longish fine layers (She is blonde) and under is very short - she got a very slow growing rate hair and had never had a haircut as there is nothing to cut!!

DD is 2.3 yrs old

I saw this thread and thought it might be you, BL!

I know DD has got very fine hair but it can't be THAT bad, surely. Take her to a hairdresser and see what they say, might be that they think that cutting it wouldn't make it any better.

I'm sure she's still as pretty as ever.

Biglips · 25/01/2007 16:06

hiya Jaamy - well she also got baby hair too which doesnt help! and yes it is bad as she'll be twisting it for about 20mins till me or dp trying not to hurt her but getting the twisty knots out

Stay positive - it's winter, she'll be wearing a hat most of the time when she's out. She's very fair so not as noticable as if she was dark haired.

Take her to the hair dressers to see if they can do anything and then just try and forget about it. Her hair wiill grow back...eventually...some time before she is 16!!!!

We're fine here thanks - beauty of having a party other than at home - no stress to arrange and no tidying up afterwards. Fully expect to be back home chilling out (with bottle of wine!) by 3pm!!!
