Good advice from Ruby. Also choose your photographer early on as they get booked up quickly. Choose/ ask bridesmaids, best man, ushers, etc. and sort out their dresses and suits. And order the cake and sort out the catering. Happy Planning!

I love wedddings! Congratulations xx

Dresses - depending on what you want, this could take a while as some come from US, Oz etc.. Mine took 3 months and then I had lost so much weight, I had to have it reshaped!

Ushers/bridesmaids etc - This can be a nightmare, especially if you have a size eight bridesmaid and a size 20 - getting dresses to look right on both can a pain - so worth looking way in advance!

We sorted flowers, cake, out quite late and it worked out ok. Ours were all done by old ladies and we got good deals.

I agree with muddle about photogrpahers - ask for recommendations as we made a mistake - he literally did my head in and missed out important pictures. We did not have ones of me and my parents or sister/parents which we were gutted about. My brother in law used our photographer and had a long list of photos which he definately wanted taking and gave it to the photogrpaher and made sure he had ticked them off! Sounds silly but we were quite gutted..... anyway, moral of my long winded story.. get a good one!

Not sure where you live but there is a wedding fayre at the nec in birmingham in February which is ace. Really good dresses etc on offer and they have loads of other ideas .

ANy more help, let me know... good luck xx
