Just sseen the headlines on the BBC website - but DH is watching 24 and so I can't actually see what's happening - has he walked out - and quit???

We don't know yet - Ding is in Ronnie O'Sullivan's dressing room apparently!

ooo - I hope he doesn't quit - and that the game last a bit longer - I was hoping to watch the end of it at work tonight

He has quit - don't know whether he thought it was 17 frames...

Still no announcement, but Ding did get up, shake O'Sullivan's hand and walked off, so it looks like he has conceded the match ...

Well, none of the reasons are he has quit... so I think it might go on?

DH has been watching and gesticulating frantically for me to try to pay more attention (shnore). Apparently Ding just lost his nerve and O'Sullivan is counselling him(!). Think the game is forfeited, though. Ding made a bad shot earlier and set there looking semi-suicidal while O'Sullivan fully capitalised on it, Ding just lost all hope.

They've just come back out!

Brave of Ding, isn't it? Really can see the tears in his eyes. Something to do with how O'Sullivan will take money off of Ding if he (OS) wins. Ding is only so young, after all.

Yes I think it's brave of Ding and also very sportsmanlike of O'Sullivan to go and talk to him.

I think the money thing is only if OS gets a 147
