first timer with nits - we are nit combing.tea tree oiling etc... what is the school policy on nits generally. i mean i assume they got them there in the first place...

just write a note in childs contact book, oh the joys - not! First time and probably sorry to say won't be the last.

so you mean take them in but inform teacher?

Treat in the morning (so there shouldn't be any live and active adults to afflict the rest of the class), and inform the school office. Don't use the contact book if it's used by every gossiping parent helper to whom your child reads...
