Sorry! It still hasn't been posted. I couldn't watch it 'til last night as we had visitors over the weekend and I have now passed it onto my friend to watch - I have told her just how many people are waiting to see it!
But I haven't forgotten and it WILL be posted to froot the second I get it back.
Read an interview with Alex Kingston today in RT and she said she hasn't enjoyed her last two seasons on ER as they have done so little with her character. She reckons they are phasing out all the older characters and stuffing it full of young 20 something actors. She makes a good point. There were two pictures: her with the cast when she joined ER, and her with the cast now. The cast when she joined was Dr Ross (sadly missed), Nurse Hathaway, Dr Greene, Dr Benton, etc. Now it's irritating Jing Mei, Dr Lewis (why did they bring HER back? And what is with that ugly bloke they've paired her up with?) that drippy Anglo/Indian doctor whose name I can't even attempt to spell, Dr Pratt, Gallant (yawn), feisty Nurse Sam (also yawn, and she is no way good enough for my lovely Luka)...only Kerry Weaver is still interesting, and Carter (and he's hardly been in it lately). They even got rid of Rocket Romano (and was that THE most stupidly far fetched plotline ever?) Though of course there is Kovac...
If it loses any more of the core characters it really won't be worth watching any more.
