yes I just made a pacman out of my mashed potato then had to explain wacca wacca wacca to DS and DD

I said my new boots make me bounce along like I'm on springs, "Time for bed said Zebedee". Utterly blank looks from ds and dd.

I once told my DS (11) that he was like a broken record, going on and on and on about the same thing. He said, "What's a record?" Made me feel ancient.

The Aladdin Junior stage version has a character called The Prince formerly known as The Artist. The children did not get it.
